ASpire Training is a social enterprise providing high quality training, both in-house and one-day events on Asperger Syndrome and autism. The training provides an understanding and awareness of the impact of Asperger Syndrome or autism on both the individual and the organisation. We have a proven track record in the delivery of training to a wide range of organisations, including:

Training

Mentor Training

Aspire Mentor Training is a package that the project has developed through recruiting, training and supporting volunteer mentors to work with adults with Asperger Syndrome. We deliver this Mentor Training to organisations wishing to train staff to provide mentor support to colleagues or service users.

Consultancy

We also provide consultancy, workplace assessments and support to any organisation or individual working or supporting those with Asperger Syndrome or autism.

The training

  • Courses are co-presented by an adult with Asperger Syndrome (subject to availability) who provides a unique perspective into the condition.
  • The Asperger Syndrome and Autism Awareness training is interactive, uses a range of learning methods and activities and is tailor-made to fit the needs of the organisation.
  • Rates start at £550 (inc. VAT) for a full day's training for your organisation (half day from £350). This includes pre-course consultation, materials, certificates, trainer and co-presenter with Asperger Syndrome.
  • The course is available on a range of autism and Asperger Syndrome related areas including employment, education and challenging behaviour.

The course is delivered by Sarah Hendrickx, a qualified trainer with many years' experience in disability education. She is a published writer in the field of Asperger Syndrome and is studying for a Masters degree in Autism.
